Highlander Charter (Warren, RI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), 44-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Highlander Charter upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The travel to Moses Brown (Providence, RI) to play the Quakers in a Division 3 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Moses Brown won 57-54 in their recent league bout against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI)

Next up, the Scarlet Knights play the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Exeter-West Greenwich will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 57-54 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
