The Fairfield Union Falcons basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Teays Valley Vikings to 37 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan Elm for a Mid-State - Buckeye contest on Tuesday, January 31. Fairfield Union will battle a Braves team coming off a 40-34 league loss to Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Braves record now stands at 7-10.

The Vikings (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH). The Rangers enter the Mid-State - Buckeye contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Hamilton Township ran past Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH), 79-75, in a league contest.
