Fayetteville-Perry Rockets (Fayetteville, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Peebles Indians (Peebles, OH), 53-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fayetteville-Perry upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to West Union (West Union, OH) to play the Dragons in a Southern Hills bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 1-12. West Union lost 79-47 in their recent league bout against Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a Southern Hills bout, on Friday, February 10. Peebles will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
