Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northshore upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. Paul's (Covington, LA) to play the Wolves in a 5A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 18-6. St. Paul's won 69-55 in their recent league bout against Covington (Covington, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Fontainebleau will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Skippers come into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 56-33 league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
