In Friday's league match, the visiting Horatio Lions basketball team scored a good 55-39 triumph over the Foreman Gators.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) in a 2A Region 7 match, on Tuesday, January 31. Horatio will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 16-8 record after their 60-57 league win over Spring Hill (Hope, AR).
