New York High School Basketball - Forestville Central can't hold off Pine Valley Central

The Pine Valley Central Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Forestville Central Hornets to 59 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellicottville for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II East contest on Monday, January 30. Pine Valley Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 44-30 league win over Franklinville (Franklinville, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
The Hornets (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cattaraugus-Little Valley (Cattaraugus, NY). The Timberwolves enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II East contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Cattaraugus-Little Valley was nudged by Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY), 53-21, in a non-league contest.
