Georgia High School Basketball - Stephens County winner over Franklin County

The Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) basketball felled the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 82-66 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors go into the AAA Region 8 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Oconee County went down by Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA), 49-47, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they host Monroe Area for a AAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 31. Franklin County will encounter a Purple Hurricanes squad coming off a 48-47 league win over Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 18-3.
