The Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) basketball felled the visiting Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA), 63-51 in Friday's league test.
The Cardinals (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Unity Reed (Manassas, VA). The Lions go into the Cedar Run test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Unity Reed was beaten by Freedom (South Riding, VA), 64-48, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Unity Reed for a Cedar Run test on Tuesday, January 31. Freedom will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 69-52 league loss to Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Lions record now stands at 4-16.
