Wisconsin High School Basketball - Waupaca knocked off by Freedom

The Freedom Irish basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Waupaca Comets to 58 in the Irish league triumph on Friday.
The Irish now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brillion for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Freedom will battle a Lions team coming off a 81-41 league win over Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI). The Lions record now stands at 18-0.
The Comets (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Omro (Omro, WI). The Foxes enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Omro was defeated by St. Mary's Springs (Fond du Lac, WI), 97-69, in a league contest.
