Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) and the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), saw Hononegah's basketball squad overcome Freeport by a tally of 77-63.

With the victory, Hononegah improves its record to 5-19 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to play the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The E-Rabs come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Rockford East won 74-56 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (Rockford, IL)

Next up, the Pretzels play the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Freeport will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 66-43 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
