Ohio High School Basketball - Monroe Central crushes Frontier

Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 62-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Seminoles travel to River (Hannibal, OH) to play the Pilots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pilots come into the bout with a record of 14-3. River lost 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Malvern (Malvern, OH)

Next up, the Cougars play the Caldwell Redskins (Caldwell, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Frontier will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
