The Garfield County Mustangs basketball team (Jordan, MT), was overwhelmed 70-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Melstone Broncs (Melstone, MT)
The Broncs now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Custer/Hysham for a C District 5 battle on Saturday, January 28. Melstone will battle a team coming off a 60-39 league loss to Broadview/Lavina (Lavina, MT). The record now stands at 2-4.
The Mustangs (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Powder River County (Broadus, MT). The Hawks come into the C District 4 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Powder River County trounced Carter County (Ekalaka, MT), 70-32, in a league battle.
