The George Junior Republic basketball team (Grove City, PA), was nudged 64-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA)

The Raiders now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer for a District 10 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Reynolds will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 62-52 league win over West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.

The (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils come into the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Sharpsville edged Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 42-29, in a league battle.
