California High School Basketball - George Washington Prep can't hold off King/Drew

The King/Drew Golden Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting George Washington Prep Generals to 48 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brentwood School for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. King/Drew will battle a Eagles team coming off a 85-83 league win over Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 22-4.
The Generals (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA). The Dons enter the Coliseum contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Dorsey nudged Fremont (Los Angeles, CA), 57-54, in a league contest.
