Georgia High School Basketball - Towns County topples Georgia School for Innovation & Classics

In Friday's league outing, the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots (Hephzibah, GA), by a margin of 72-52.

The Indians (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Aquinas (Augusta, GA). The Fightin' Irish go into the A D2 Region 8B outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Aquinas was beaten by Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA), 60-54, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Lake Oconee Academy for a A D2 Region 8A outing on Saturday, January 28. Georgia School for Innovation & Classics will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 41-24 league loss to Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Titans record now stands at 4-14.
