Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs County crushes Glascock County

January 27, 2023: Jeffersonville, GA 31044

Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), 68-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Twiggs County upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Cobras travel to Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-11.

Next up, the Panthers play the John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Glascock County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 49-38 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA).
