The St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) basketball felled the host Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), 67-54 in Friday's league test.
The Fighting Saints (10-13) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the DuKane test with a 21-2 record. In their last test, Wheaton-Warrenville South thwarted Geneva (Geneva, IL), 56-24, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Batavia for a DuKane test on Tuesday, January 31. Glenbard North will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-12.
