The Gloucester Dukes basketball team (Gloucester, VA), was overwhelmed 99-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA)
The Wolverines now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menchville for a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, January 31. Woodside will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 66-32 non-league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 16-0.
The Dukes (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Hurricanes come into the Peninsula battle with a 9-8 record.
