In Friday's league outing, the Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils (Ogdensburg, NY), by a margin of 69-56.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin Academy (Malone, NY). The Huskies go into the Section 10 Central outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Franklin Academy was topped by Canton (Canton, NY), 43-26, in a league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Beekmantown for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Ogdensburg Free Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-44 league win over Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
