The North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) basketball nipped the host Graham Local Falcons (St. Paris, OH), 49-44 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Urbana (Urbana, OH). The Hillclimbers go into the Central Buckeye - Mad River test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Urbana got by Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH), 72-27, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Northwestern for a Central Buckeye - Mad River test on Tuesday, January 31. Graham Local will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 82-56 league loss to Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-13.
