In Friday's league match, the host Grant Union Prospectors basketball team scored a good 60-45 triumph over the Irrigon Knights.
In their next game, the Prospectors meet the Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 1. Grant Union will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 15-2 record after their 79-54 league win over Adrian (Adrian, OR).
With the defeat, Irrigon moves to 3-15 on the year. The Knights travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, OR) to meet the Outlaws in a 2A Blue Mountain match on Saturday, January 28. The Outlaws enter the match with a record of 3-13. Enterprise lost 56-42 in their recent league match against Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR)
