North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs Gray Stone Day

January 27, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110

In Friday's league outing, the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), by a count of 80-38.

The Cardinals (3-15) will now prepare for their outing against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the 1A/2A Conference 35 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, South Stanly was crushed by North Stanly (New London, NC), 55-50, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a 1A/2A Conference 35 outing on Monday, January 30. Gray Stone Day will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 88-60 league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-6.
