West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 66-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Marshall upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Rams play the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Bluejays come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 78-45 non-league loss to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA).
