Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), 53-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Greenway upgrades its record to 2-18 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ) to play the Panthers in a 4A Skyline bout on Monday, January 30. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 14-10. Paradise Honors won 47-35 in their recent league bout against Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Criminals play the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline bout, on Monday, January 30. Yuma will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 78-56 league win over Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ).
