The Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), 75-42 in Friday's league test.

The Griffins (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Eden (Eden, NY). The Raiders go into the Section 6 Erie County IV test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Eden walloped Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY), 68-52, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Middle Early College for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. Kennedy will encounter a Kats squad coming off a 81-42 non-league win over Riverside (Buffalo, NY). The Kats record now stands at 5-10.
