North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Guilford knocked off by Grimsley

January 27, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27409

The Grimsley Whirlies basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Northwest Guilford Vikings to 44 in the Whirlies league triumph on Friday.

The Whirlies now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Guilford for a 4A Conference 55 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Grimsley will battle a Hornets team coming off a 73-31 league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 6-13.

The Vikings (7-11) will now prepare for their bout against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates go into the 4A Conference 55 bout with a 10-10 record. In their last bout, Page was knocked off by Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 69-62, in a league bout.
