Michigan High School Basketball - St. Mary Catholic Central can't hold off Grosse Ile

The Grosse Ile Red Devils basketball team scored 48 points and held the host St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels to 45 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huron for a Huron contest on Tuesday, January 31. Grosse Ile will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 55-46 league win over Milan (Milan, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-5.
The Falcons/Kestrels (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Riverview (Riverview, MI). The Pirates enter the Huron contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Riverview nudged Airport (Carleton, MI), 71-55, in a league contest.
