Louisiana High School Basketball - Slidell beaten by Hammond

The Hammond Tornadoes ran past the host Slidell Tigers basketball team by a final score of 68-60 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) in a 5A District 6 game, on Friday, February 3. Hammond will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record.

With the defeat, Slidell moves to 8-22 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA) to face the Green Wave in a 5A District 6 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Green Wave enter the game with a record of 20-6. Ponchatoula won 56-33 in their recent league game against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)
