Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) and the visiting Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), saw Hampton Roads Academy's basketball squad wallop Veritas School by a count of 75-44.

With the victory, Hampton Roads Academy upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Navigators travel to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Crusaders in a VISAA Division I challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. Catholic won 76-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Veritas School will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Kings come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 60-41 league win over Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA).
