The Harmony Area Owls basketball team (Westover, PA), was nudged 79-73 in Friday's league battle with the visiting West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA)

The Warriors now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale for a Moshannon Valley battle on Tuesday, January 31. West Branch will confront a Vikings team coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-11.

The Owls (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Blacklick Valley edged Salisbury Elk Lick (Salisbury, PA), 49-31, in a non-league battle.
