In Friday's league outing, the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) basketball squad beat the host Hartford Central Tanagers (Hartford, NY), by a margin of 50-37.
The Railroaders (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 2 Adirondack outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Hadley Luzerne defeated Salem (Salem, NY), 54-32, in a league outing.
The Tanagers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Schroon Lake for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Hartford Central will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 50-38 league win over Crown Point (Crown Point, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-1.
