The Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Hartley Tigers (Hartley, TX), 46-40 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (7-16) will now prepare for their test against Texline (Texline, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 1A Region I District 3 test with a 25-4 record. In their last test, Texline got by Adrian (Adrian, TX), 92-48, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Adrian for a 1A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, January 31. Hartley will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 73-35 league loss to Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 14-10.
