JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs (Opelousas, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hathaway Hornets (Jennings, LA), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, JS Clark Leadership Academy upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA) to clash with the Falcons in a B District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 13-12. Episcopal of Acadiana lost 59-56 in their recent league bout against Lacassine (Lacassine, LA)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Midland Rebels (Midland, LA) in a B District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Hathaway will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 66-58 league win over Bell City (Bell City, LA).
