Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Haverford School Fords (Haverford, PA), 74-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Malvern Prep upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Friars travel to George School (Newtown, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-4.

Next up, the Fords play the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Inter-Academic bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Haverford School will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
