The Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene Eagles basketball team (Abilene, TX), was overwhelmed 73-15 in Friday's league battle with the host Hermleigh Cardinals (Hermleigh, TX)
The Cardinals now possess a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a 1A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Hermleigh will confront a Hornets team coming off a 58-19 league loss to Loraine (Loraine, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-14.
The Eagles (3-19) will now prepare for their battle against Westbrook (Westbrook, TX). The Wildcats come into the 1A Region II District 14 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Westbrook trounced Trent (Trent, TX), 84-24, in a league battle.
