Preston Indians (Preston, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Highland Rams (Pocatello, ID), 49-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Preston upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Indians host Pocatello (Pocatello, ID) to play the Thunder in a 4A South East Idaho bout on Friday, February 3. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 17-1.

Next up, the Rams play the Madison Bobcats (Rexburg, ID) in a 5A High Country bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Pocatello (Pocatello, ID).
