Virginia High School Basketball - Holston can't hold off Rural Retreat

The Rural Retreat Indians basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Holston Cavaliers to 61 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lebanon for a Hogoheegee contest on Tuesday, January 31. Rural Retreat will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 68-67 league loss to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-3.
The Cavaliers (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Richlands nudged Graham (Bluefield, VA), 61-32, in a league contest.
