Massachusetts High School Basketball - Mahar Regional can't hold off Hopkins Academy

The Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Mahar Regional Senators to 44 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Hawks now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frontier Regional for a Hampshire - North contest on Monday, January 30. Hopkins Academy will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Drury (North Adams, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 5-7.
The Senators (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lenox Memorial (Lenox, MA). The Millionaires enter the Hampshire - South contest with a 5-7 record.
