In Friday's non-league outing, the Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), by a count of 96-44.

The Cowboys (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders go into the Berkshire outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Northwestern Regional smashed Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 76-70, in a league outing.

The Mountaineers now hold a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Wamogo for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Housatonic-Wamogo will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.
