The Truckee Wolverines basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Hug Hawks to 38 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Valleys for a 3A Northern - West contest on Wednesday, February 1. Truckee will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-53 league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-10.

The Hawks (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Sparks (Sparks, NV). The Railroaders enter the 3A Northern - West contest with a 6-10 record.
