Maplewood Panthers (Nashville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hume-Fogg Blue Knights (Nashville, TN), 53-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Maplewood upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Panthers host Hillwood (Nashville, TN) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a 3A District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Hillwood won 66-58 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia Central (Columbia, TN)

Next up, the Blue Knights clash with the Murfreesboro Lacrosse (Murfreesboro, TN) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Hume-Fogg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record.
