Texas High School Basketball - Jarrell can't hold off Marble Falls

The Marble Falls Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Jarrell Cougars to 49 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lampasas for a 4A Region III District 24 contest on Wednesday, February 1. Marble Falls will battle a Badgers team coming off a 55-45 league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 12-16.
The Cougars (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Vikings come into the 4A Region III District 24 contest with a 9-21 record. In their last contest, Lago Vista was nudged by Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 59-40, in a league contest.
