Texas High School Basketball - Kenedy ripped by Port Aransas

The Port Aransas Marlins basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Kenedy Lions to 28 in the Marlins league triumph on Friday.
The Marlins now sport a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Refugio for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Port Aransas will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 77-48 league loss to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-7.
The Lions (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 3-22 record. In their last contest, Yorktown was routed by Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX), 52-11, in a league contest.
