The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), 81-23 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartan go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Christ Covenant was trounced by New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC), 56-55, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian for a NCISAA Carolina Independent test on Tuesday, January 31. Kerr-Vance Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 47-41 league win over Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-12.
