Michigan High School Basketball - King thwarts Renaissance

The King Crusaders (Detroit, MI) basketball knocked off the host Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI), 74-64 in Friday's league test.
The Crusaders (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Mumford (Detroit, MI). The Mustangs go into the Detroit Public I test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Mumford went down by Southeastern (Detroit, MI), 45-44, in a league test.
The Phoenix now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Western International for a Detroit Public I test on Friday, February 3. Renaissance will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 79-58 league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-7.
