In Friday's league outing, the La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX), by a margin of 69-22.

The Coyotes (21-11) will now prepare for their outing against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region IV District 31 outing with a 21-9 record. In their last outing, Edinburg smashed Economedes (Edinburg, TX), 77-37, in a league outing.
