Georgia High School Basketball - Whitewater can't hold off LaGrange

The Whitewater Wildcats basketball team (Fayetteville, GA), was nudged 66-61 in Friday's league battle with the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA)

The Grangers now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fayette County for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 31. LaGrange will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-61 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 17-5.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Troup County edged North Clayton (College Park, GA), 78-55, in a league battle.
