The Waco Lions tipped the visiting Lake Belton Broncos basketball team by a final score of 48-42 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Lions face the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 battle, on Tuesday, January 31. Waco will attempt to improve on its 5-19 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 21-8 record after their 57-54 league win over University (Waco, TX).
The Broncos (15-13) will now prepare for their battle against Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos come into the 5A Region III District 22 battle with a 7-20 record. In their last battle, Killeen was nudged by Shoemaker (Killeen, TX), 69-47, in a league battle.
