Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA), 41-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln County upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Warren County (Warrenton, GA) to play the Screaming Devils in a A D2 Region 8B bout on Saturday, January 28. The Screaming Devils come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Warren County won 82-78 in their recent league bout against Greene County (Greensboro, GA)

Next up, the Titans play the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots (Hephzibah, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 72-52 league loss to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA).
