Virginia High School Basketball - Westmoreland knocked off by Lancaster

The Lancaster Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Westmoreland Eagles to 39 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Life Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Lancaster will battle a Eagles team coming off a 39-36 league loss to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.
The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA). The Raiders enter the Northern Neck contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Rappahannock ran past Northumberland (Heathsville, VA), 66-62, in a league contest.
